Dionne Harrison, MD

Dr. Dionne Harrison is a board certified psychiatrist who received her MD from SUNY at Buffalo School of Biomedical Science and completed her psychiatric residency at Duke University where she was afforded a wealth of experiences. She works with Severe and Persistently Mentally Ill population in her outpatient work and previously with ACTT. She gained insight into the unique needs of college students in her during her training at the Counseling and Psychological Services for students at Duke University. Her substance treatment background includes training experiences at Mayo Clinic, TROSA and Fellowship Hall of Greensboro NC as well as working with an SAIOP for individuals with HIV, substance use and mood disorders. She also had additional studies and clinical experience in marriage and family therapy, child trauma and neglect during her Duke training and has worked with children and adolescents in a variety of settings including those in residential treatment.

What intrigues her about mental health is the uniqueness of each person and our capacity to overcome great obstacles in life.

Michael R. Volow, MD

Michael began his studies in 1959 at Oberlin  College 1959, continuing on to New Jersey College of Medicine in 1964, and finishing his residency in 1972 at Duke Psychiatry. 

​His Favorite part of mental health care/ and why he loves helping others centers around Neuropsychiatry, PTSD, Dissociative Identity Disorder and Psychodynamic psychotherapy.

In his spare time he enjoys photography and studies voice. 

Nicole Donnelly, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

Nicole studied at the University of Miami for undergrad, and went on to Barry University to earn her Master's in Nursing.

 Her favorite part about working in mental health is getting the opportunity to connect with people, hear their stories and provide care for them as they work through every day struggles.

 In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, including her cats and dogs, and watching Netflix (these activities are often happening simultaneously).

Ojinga Harrison, MD 

Ojinga studied at Jackson State University for his undergraduate, University of Tennessee College of Medicine and Duke University Medical Center for training in Psychiatry and Internal Medicine.

​His favorite part about working in mental health is meeting new people, and learning about experiences to develop a plan for achieving success. 

​In his spare time he loves family time, church activities and business development. 

India Reid Sims , MD

India studied at UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and did her residency in Internal medicine. She continued her education with a fellowship in geriatric medicine at Duke. 

​India's favorite part of mental health care and why she chooses it in her own words are "I especially enjoy addiction medicine as it affords me the opportunity to manage clients with various comorbid psychiatric illnesses enabling them to reclaim and live their best life. The life that they and their families deserve. 

In her spare time she loves dabbling in essential oils, reading about their benefits and putting them to the test. 

Daria Lewis, MSN, DNP, NP-C

Daria studied at Winston Salem State University (for both undergrad and graduate). She earned both her FNP and DNP degrees at UNC Chapel Hill. 

Her favorite part about working in mental health is seeing the growth and openness of clients as rapport builds with each appt. She chose this field because of the associated stigma in addition to helping people from the inside out vs. the outside in. 

​In her spare time she loves to decorate her house, fish and cook. 

Carissa Kicinski, MPAS, PA-C 

Carissa studied at Gannon University for her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences and went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.


Her favorite part about working in mental health is getting the opportunity to connect with people, heart their stories and provide care for them as they work through every day struggles.


In her spare time you can find her hiking and cooking, as well as discovering new music.
